Mechanical breakdown insurance
Whats is it ?
A mechanical Insurance cover (often called and extended warranty) Is an insurance policy that covers your car against any mechanical breakdown. The Vero Policy we sell is available for up to three years and has an excess per claim of $150.
The policy includes 24 hour AA road side assistance and rental car cover if you are out of town.

What is covered?
The policy covers all mechanical and electrical failures including the transmission electronics and airconditioning, it does not cover normal wear on items such as tires brakes etc.

How does its work?
You can purchase an extended warranty when you buy your car from Carspot. In event of a claim your authorised MTA repairer will repair your car and all you have to pay is the excess and in some cases some oils and consumables. In order to keep the policy valid there are some conditions regarding modification and of course you must service your car at least every 15,000km for petrol vehicles For full service requirements please refer to the full policy

Do I need it?

We highly recommend taking the Vero Mechanical Insurance to save on unexpected and expensive repairs. Most modern cars have expensive and complicated electronic components which cannot be repaired , these can easily cost thousands of dollars for just one unit.

Our experience is that these policies provide extremely good value as well as peace of mind.
